If you are currently on my waitlist and awaiting my email to set up our
Discovery Call, then you may find some of the FAQs below helpful to figure
out if I’m the Coach for you. I’ve listed some alternate ADHD Coach
resources in the event that you need support sooner than I am able to
provide it. I want you to get the support you deserve ASAP.
Q: Do you meet and Coach in person?
A: Most of my work is done online via Zoom video calls, though I do work in person (when it’s possible for both of us and agreed in the Discovery Call).
Q: How much are your Coaching services?
A: Each session is $160.00 CAD (plus tax for Canadians only)
Q: Do you have a professional designation that allows your fees to be put through health insurance?
A: Although I am a professionally accredited Addiction Recovery and ADHD Life Coach, unfortunately, most insurance providers still do not cover the cost of Life Coaching, though there are bursaries available for some colleges and universities and some employment insurance providers do cover the cost of coaching so it’s worth asking your own provider and/or uni/college/student services.
Q: How long does Addiction Recovery or ADHD Coaching typically last?
A: Each case is different but typically a minimum of 6 months. However this totally depends on what goals you have for Coaching and what level of readiness you are at when we begin. In some cases once we are done the 6 months, clients are happy with where they are at, but not quite ready to fly solo, they then have the option to step down to 2 sessions per month, gradually tapering off, or they might join one of my groups if i have one running.
Q: What’s included in your Coaching services and are there any other extra costs?
A: Coaching includes:
- Assessment tools such as the Wheel of Life, a Mind Body assessment and a Strengths assessment (if needed )
- In-between session text check-ins by messaging app.
- All support materials (such as handouts, resources and templates needed) for building new skills, habits or supporting mindset shifts.
Q: What types of challenges do you typically work on?
A: Again, each case is unique and customized to your needs and goals, but here are some of the life aspects I cover and some of the typical needs within them.
Mind Body: health, nutrition medication/supplements, sleep issues, energy, money/finance.
Psychological. emotional & mental obstacles, limiting beliefs, fears, inner, addictions & mindset shifts.
Practical tools: for disorganization, procrastination, initiation/ motivation, focus, poor impulse control, time Management, triggers and cravings, to-do lists, productivity, organizing, communication and more.
Meaning: career, creativity, purpose, spiritual growth, new challenges (or any other personal areas of improvement relevant to you).
Connection: relationships to others and self, communication, boundaries, social, partner issues, intimacy issues, codependence.
Your Ecology: space & environment needs, changing the outer conditions we need to thrive, dealing with clutter or environmental triggers.
Q: How long is your waitlist?
A: The wait time is anywhere from a minimum of 2 weeks up to 6-8 weeks.
Q: What do we do if we are in crisis but your Waitlist is too long for us?
A: I recognize that many of you contacting me are suffering, in crisis and need of help immediately. Hopefully, I can and will help, however there may be times when I can’t, so I’ve added some links below to other coach organizations that I know and trust to help you get the support you need ASAP!
